Scars

After acne, inflammation, accidents, or surgery

Scars form after deep damage to the skin. When only the epidermis is affected — for example, by superficial abrasions — no scarring will occur. When the dermis is also involved in the injury, the skin will heal leaving behind a scar. Scar tissue consists of collagen (connective tissue). Scars can remain after acne, accidents, or surgery. They can appear on the face or other parts of the body. With injectables, microneedling, peels, and biostimulation, we can reduce the appearance of scars.
