Small benign growths of the skin
Skin tags — also known as fibromas — are small, soft, benign growths of the skin. They often develop in places where the skin rubs against clothing or other skin, such as the neck, armpits, groin, and around the eyelids. Skin tags are completely harmless, but many people find them bothersome or unsightly.
Skin tags do not disappear on their own and can increase in number over time. Fortunately, removing them is a small and quick treatment that is virtually painless and usually leaves no visible scar.
During a consultation, we examine the skin and discuss which method best suits your situation, so you know exactly what to expect beforehand.
